It is built with a heavy-duty shaft that can withstand increased torque by up to 50% and is suitable for Wrangler TJ ’97-’06, Wrangler TJ Unlimited ’04-’06, and Cherokee XJ – all.

The TeraFlex Jeep Slip Yoke Eliminator (SYE), otherwise known as a short shaft kit, for NP231 and NP231-J transfer cases is a heavy-duty kit designed to eliminate the weak and failure-prone slip yoke and improve the driveline angles, allowing for increased torque handling capacity for extreme stresses generated by oversized tires, lift applications of 3″ or more, and added low range gearing such as the Tera Low231, while improving driveline vibration, ensuring maximum durability, and better performance.

NP231 transfer cases: Wrangler TJ ’97-’06 and Wrangler TJ Unlimited ’04-’06
