Isuzu Revolution Gear 3:1 Low Range Kit
Gearset shown with optional Shift Knobs
remove the transfer case back cover
remove the c-clip
remove the bolts for the detent springs & balls
use a magnet to remove
drive out the double roll pins
unstake the front pinion nut
remove pinion nut with a 36mm socket
now you have removed front drives shaft and yoke
front output ready to remove
use a large 3 jaw puller for 1st front gear
remove back snap ring on idler (middle) gear cluster
pull the rear output gear
sort removed parts on rags according to gear cluster
compare new gear to factory gear
compare rails, confirm locations of arrows are the same as factory
factory vs. Revolution Low Range idler gear
if rail is correct, install
idler cluster out, remove snap ring to pull bearing
remove bearings to move over to new idler gear
large snap ring under rear bearing: TIP: note zip tie on the fully compressed snap ring. install gear, cut, ring pops into groove.
start assembling the case in reverse order
finished case now with Revolution 3:1 reduction gears, ready to seal back cover on.

Isuzu owners will greatly benefit off road from using our 3:1 low-range conversion kit for the Isuzu transfer case.

Install Note: Refill Case with 5w30 Motor Oil ONLY, as factory specified
DO NOT use Gear Oil in this case, you will do damage.
