These are our top selling lift coils for Isuzu Troopers (’92-2002); Rodeo, Honda Passport, Amigo, & Rodeo Sport (’98-2004), Axiom, VX & Acura SLX. These coils provide 1″ – 3″ of rear lift depending on application. Â Also check out our coil spring spacers for adding additional lift and fine tuning your rear ride height to adjust for heavy loads, towing, axle swaps, etc.. Available in 3 heights adding 1″, 1.5″, or 2″ of added lift.

Applications & Specs:
NOTE:   Here is a rough tech guide to the 4 different Isuzu coils we offer. All of  these coils are similar in rate and height, with subtle differences between each. All 4 coils will fit any Isuzu from ’92-2002. Each will yield a slightly different result on the same truck. Heights will vary based on vehicle weight,  wear on original suspension, oversize spares, bumpers, tools, towing….all are factors on the final height. Choose your coil accordingly.
2913: free height 390mm, spring rate = 180/300 progressive where OE rate was 160 LBS, number of coil wraps = 9.3
- Specified for the ’98+ Rodeo/Amigo platform – mild lift w/ max of 1″ – 1.5″
- Works great as a stock height replacement coil on a Trooper or VX where no lift is the goal
2912:Â free height 420mm, spring rate = 180/300 progressive where OE rate was 160 LBS, number of coil wraps = 10.8
- Specified for the ’92+ Trooper platform – mild lift w/ max of 1″ – 1.5″
- Works great as a lift coil on the ’98+ Rodeo/Amigo platform where a 2.5″-3″ lift is the goal
- We spec this coil in all of our Rodeo /Amigo lift kits
- Used on ’92-97 Troopers for mild lift (for the ’98+ we suggest a 2929 for the same result due to a heavier curb weight in those years)
2929:Â free height 420mm, spring rate = 240/300 where OE rate was 160 LBS, number of coil wraps = 10.8
- For the ’98+ Trooper we suggest this 2929 due to a heavier curb weight in those years to achieve a 1.5″-2″ lift
- Great in all 92+ Troopers for a little firmer ride & where occasional towing in the goal
- This is the firmest coil offered
- In our suspension system we add a 1.5″ coil spacer for the 3″ lift
- Typically too tall for Amigo, Rodeo, & VX unless custom application is being used (Ex: Axle Swap, etc.)
2919:Â free height 430mm, spring rate = 200/280 where OE rate was 160 LBS, number of coil wraps = 10.8
- Specified for the ’92+ Trooper platform – Â lift w/ max of 2″ – 2.5″
- Physically the tallest coil offered, this is the coil we use most on ’92-97 Troopers
- In our suspension system we add a 1″ coil spacer for the 3″ lift
- Typically too tall for Amigo, Rodeo, & VX unless custom application is being used (Ex: Axle Swap, etc.)

Variable Or Constant Spring Rates:
Depending on the application, OME manufactures coil springs with constant or variable rates. A variable rate coil spring provides ride comfort when the vehicle is unladen and maintains ride height and control when the vehicle is carrying a load.
Formed On Precision Mandrels:
The use of CNC precision mandrels ensures that all springs produced are identical and consistent with the design specifications.
Shot Peening:
Coils are fully shot peened, which reduces stress and greatly enhances spring life.
Fully Scragged & Load Tested:
All coils are scragged to eliminate subsequent spring sag and load tested to ensure that they meet the required specifications.
Exacting End Configuration Manufacture:
Old Man Emu’s coil springs are designed to fit correctly on the vehicle by duplicating the original manufacturer’s coil end.
Manufacturing Consistency & Quality Control:
Stringent quality control procedures for heat treatment (tempering) processes and all phases of manufacture ensure that Old Man Emu springs are made the same way every time.”
